This vintage 1953 ex-Santa-Fe Baggage car has probably seen hundreds of thousands of boxes, bags and suitcases throughout its existence. As it lays over in the yard overnight it is void of any contents, however the scuffs and scars on its walls are indicators of the action it has seen. This was the last car of its type on the Amtrak active roster to retain the as-delivered style dual window baggage doors.
