Mt Burkhardt- The WC main spanning the CNW E/W main, was a high spot in the area. Always a pain to pull heavy trains over the seperated crossing, the location became known as Mt Burkhardt, as Burkhardt was VP of the CNW before founding the WC. Ore loads for Middletown Ohio, with the WC 6655 leading, shown waiting on the B&OCT dispatcher at Barr to answer his radio, and continue into the labyrinth that is Chicago.
