| The Union Pacific's Coast Mesa Local is returning from its early morning work in Santa Ana. It is seen here accomplishing two rather odd railroad feats in modern day RRs. It is street running and it has triggered a wigwag signal (one of the last in So Cal). Many breathed a sigh of relief when this train continued to run after the demise of its main customer, the LA Times Coast Mesa printing plant. |
