Remarks & Notes |
Soo train 912 with 747,750 and 50 cars is about 8 miles out of its destination of Soo Yard. At that point either a CPR or Soo switch crew will move the cars bound for CPR across the I-Bridge into Canada. Around midnight the CPR version of 912 will be departing Sault Ste. Marie for Montreal. Soo 912 used to be an eastbound evening train across Upper Michigan and during the long summer days could be shot in good light near Dafter where the Soo Subdivision swung onto a north/south alignment for the last few miles into Sault Ste. Marie. |
