Cutting through vast fields of soybeans south of Chaffee, today's Portland to Birmingham freight is fronted by a typical consist for this train - 2 SDs and 2 GPs. An SD40-2 and GP38, both in green, are spliced by another GP38 and an SD45 still in Frisco colors. The merger is only a few months old, but with BN repainting at a furious pace, this is already a lucky catch.
