Built in 1921, narrow and low to clear bridges and canal locks, it was the last working freighter on the Erie Canal and was retired in 1994. It served both the Erie Canal and Great Lakes. Tug boat Chancellor, built in 1938 is the closer boat. The DME 6086 is the former Quebec North Shore and Labrador Railway (QNSL) 207 and CP 5403, built as an SD40.
