From what I can determine, there were 23 Chessie Safety Cabooses, decorated in various colors with different safety slogans. One such caboose, B&O C-3771 was trailing an eastbound unit grain train near Doe Gully, WV on Sept. 10, 1977. Check out the trainman giving a friendly wave. Probably a pretty nice way to spend a pleasant September afternoon.
