Vermont Rail System's salt extra train is hauling 48 loads from Whitehall, NY to Bellows Falls, VT and delivery to the New England Central Railroad. NECR forwards the cars for distribution between the White River Jct. salt shed (on NECR) and the Ely, VT salt shed (VRS' WACR). The train is hamering newly fallen snow at Proctorsville, VT with VTR GP40-2 308, LLPX GP40 3003, GMRC GP40 304, VTR GP40-2 303, CLP GP38-2 204, VTR GP40 301 and GMTX GP38-2 2663.
