Remarks & Notes |
After a washout north of Lake Superior the CP detoured a number of trains that had been in the area of Sudbury over the Sault Ste. Marie branch and then WC from Sault Ste. Marie-Neenah-Minneapolis. These jobs were powered by 4 axle units due to weight restrictions on the I-bridge at Sault Ste. Marie. This was a combined CP471/481 with 1800, 4243, 1837 leading a huge train at Hermansville. The train has just made the mandatory stop for the CNW diamond and in short order will be tackling Pembine Hill. A test that no doubt will have the MLW's in their short time rating. |
