Remarks & Notes
With no catenary wire to be found anywhere in sight, a trio of retired Kennecott Copper Corp. electrics look out of place at Union Pacific's Salt Lake Shops. A single 85 Ton GE 'Pit Motor" (blt. Aug. 1928) and two 125 Ton GE 'Magna Motors' (blt. Nov. 1947) share trackage with a GE U30C on the east side of the shop complex. The copper mining equipment was in transit, having been donated by KCC to the Boone Valley Historical Society in Boone, Iowa.

From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
