GBW train 2 normally arrived in Wisconsin Rapids in the early afternoon. It was worked there and then made an evening departure for Green Bay. This shot of train 2 with 316,310 and 115 cars was shot on the west side of the Wisconsin River as the train was slowly making it's way into the Wisconsin Rapids Terminal area. Pairs or trios of RS-27's were not particularly common on trains 1&2 as there were only 4 of them on GBW and they usually were mixed with C424's as the RS-27 were not the most reliable units. |
