The line from Sulmona to Carpinone, in central Italy, is probably the most scenic of Italian State Railways (FS). It was closed to regular services between 2010 and 2011, but, trying to save it from dismantling, a special train composed of heritage stock was organized on march 4th, 2012. Here the consist is shown passing Pettorano sul Gizio station, wich was closed a few years before the closure of the railway.
