Remarks & Notes |
A large South Texas coastal cloud temporarily darkens the scene slightly as T&NO (SP) local train 377 stops at the station in Yorktown. The conductor is walking toward the head end as other crewmen scope out the switching to be done. Trains 377 and 378 operated between Yoakum and Kenedy, Texas. The branch between Cuero and Kenedy, including Yorktown, was abandoned in stages between 1964 and 1972. |
