Talk about showing your heritage. Ann Arbor RS-1 #21 sits basking in the evening sun north of Lenawee Junction on the old Southern Michigan Railroad main line. While not connected to the rest of the railroad due to the removal of the diamond with the N&W, current day NS Detroit District, diamond several hundred feet North, Ann Arbor #21 is still cared for as a jewl of the SMRS fleet. She shows her paint scheme of her days under Wabash control, to her days in operation on the Michigan Interstate. Compared to her sister #20 which sits in Shepard, MI, this old girl still runs.
