After leaving the border station of Ollagüe, the heavy train with lead/zinc/silver concentrates in round containers, pulled by GL26C-2 # 2005 and 2010 and GR12 # 2405, is passing the active volcano Ollagüe, 5868 meter high. You can see the fumarolic activity on the right on the top. There is a disused switchback road which was going to a former sulfuric mine on about 5650 meter.
