An eastbound APL stack train from the Port of Oakland roars out of tunnel 8 onto the North Fork Bridge in the heart of California's Feather River Canyon. The tunnel and the big concrete bridge were built by the State of California in 1959-60 as part of the Oroville Dam project in which WP's right of way was rerouted.
