The Condemned. EMD-repowered RS-3m #1201 was on hand and in service on CCCX's opening day back in 2000, when she was a regular on the summer passenger trains. By the time the Massachusetts Bay Railroad Enthusiasts visited in 2010, she had fallen out of favor and into disrepair, spending most of her time on a siding in Hyannis. She would hang on for another season before being towed to the mainland and scrapped in 2011. Sister 1501 is still in service, but look-alike 1502 met the same fate as 1201.
