MP&ES Open House/Santa Fe F-7 Unveiling! Today was the big day as a reserved group of no more than 200 people attended the first open house MP&ES has hosted. The main attraction was the unveiling of two Ex. Texas & New Orleans; Southern Pacfic; SEPTA; CDOT EMD F7As that were overhauled and repainted into ATSF Warbonnet Colors for their new owner Galveston Railroad Museum and Terminal. This was the first time the public was able to view these beauties after months of work had been completed. The unit in the background is another MP&ES project, SCPX 2008 which is an original EMD GP20 Demostrator. Taken on Private Property with permission during MP&ES Open House.
