Remarks & Notes
Just like the days of old, the Alamosa to Walsenburg local know as train 162 in the Rio Grande era patiently waits at the entrance to the Trinchera Ranch with its stylish SD90/43MACS on the point before continuing east. Although it's not Grande Gold, it is still nice to see Rio Grande speed lettering flying though this part of Colorful Colorado.

A compilation of DRGW's La Veta Pass route to the San Luis Valley now operated by the SLRG. With Rio Grande Scenic passenger operations coming to a close in 2019, the Alamosa sub is once again freight-only, as reflected here.
Eye-Catching, attention grabbers

Anything that grabs one's attention and holds it. These photos tell more than a story based on the sum of its parts, but create other stories.
