Remarks & Notes |
One for the history books. NS 17G is the last train to pass intact PRR/PC signals at CP ALTO and CP SLOPE. Also of note is Tower operator Ron Heiss (on the right) walking across track 3. He would become the last tower operator at ALTO Tower. The Tower closed officially at 8:00 am on June 16th 2012 when its signals were turned off and the new Cantilever signals were lit. CP ALTO was divided into two new Control Points: CP COVE and CP ALTOONA. |
