Narrow gauge National Railways of Mexico Train No. 109 awaits its 7:55 a.m. departure at Puebla, Mexico, bound for Mexico City the long way --- 192 miles taking all day to circle around 17,802-ft. snow-capped Mt. Popocatepetl, through Cuautla and Ozumba. Consolidation 269 was up to the task which turned into about 14 hours. The rear coach with a concrete floor was "first class."
