| Union Pacific's 'City of Provo' passenger train? Hardly. After spending most of the day performing safety drills between Nephi and Springville, a UP Operation Lifesaver Special departs Provo for Salt Lake City. UP E9 #949 is on the opposite end of the 10 car train. On a side note, this right of way today supports Utah Transit Authority's new double track FrontRunner commuter rail line. |
