| A batch of 30 diesel and three electric ex-Queensland Railways locomotives was recently imported into South Africa from Australia by three South African companies - AR&TS, RRL Grindrod and SAFLog. One of 6 class 1720 Clyde GL18C's that went to RRL Grindrod, # 1772D is undergoing a complete rebuild at their Pretoria workshops. On the left is CFCO Congo-Brazzaville # CC1104, undegoing repair work. Photographed with permission. |
