Arcade, NY 7/20/2012 - Sometimes the simplest details of the railroad provide for an insiring image. With no trains to watch and a dreary rain falling over this classic shortline in western New York, the mixture of oil, creasote, and rain captured my mind and senses. Note the lack of a tie-plate--a sign of the meager economic abilities of this shortline operation.
All those shots of interesting railroad details, what you see trackside, up close and personal! Excludes shots going into my other albums: "Engine Details," "Signal Details," and "Switchstand Shots."
