At 2:35 on the afternoon of February 13, 1994, a Burlington Northern westbound passes a farm just west of Flagg Center, Illinois. BN SD40-2 No. 8011 leads a trailing Santa Fe GP50, a sign of things to come . . . but we didn’t know it at the time.
