| A nice pair of OBB 1144's head north over the 107 year old(!) Angertalbrucke in Bad Hofgastein, Austria. This shot should not have even been possible for a number of reasons. First, the new concrete double track bridge has been done since 2007 but has yet to open due to protests my area residents that fear that train traffic will increase if the new bridge is opened, yes even without horns people still complain about trains! Secondly I was exceptionally fortunate in catching the 1 hour gap in the clouds all day, after about 20 minutes the skies clouded over again and that was it but I was happy to have gotten two trains in full sun on this amazing bridge! |
