Railfest 2012 featured engines on display from Norfolk Southern, Amtrak , Canadian Pacific , Delaware Lackawanna, and the Reading & Northern. In the main roundhouse parked in perfect sunlight all day were NS F9A 4271 and CP GP9RM 8244.Both are EMD/GMD's examples of first generation units and are on Class 1 railroads still in service. The durability of an EMD product is the sole reason both of these engines still ply the rails.
