Remarks & Notes
Norfolk Southern train No. 180 is at Tateville, Kentucky and about to duck under the Highway 804 bridge on August 23, 1992. This train is northbound on the on the former Southern Railway “Rathole” line between Cincinnati and Chattanooga. Three high-nose EMDs power the train, including GP50 No. 7060 on the point, running long-hood forward as the CNO&TP (Cincinnati, New Orleans and Texas Pacific Railway) and Southern intended.
