The brakeman on NWP's northbound Train 4 has assisted with unloading freight (including a wringer washing machine) from the rear compartment of SP Budd RDC car and is about to swing aboard to continue on to Eureka. Unfortunately the following December everything in this scene (except the RDC) was washed away by the raging Eel River. The RDC rests today at the railway museum at Galveston, Texas. |
