Remarks & Notes |
Amtrak's 2nd to be painted "Heritage" unit crosses over the Mohawk River just seconds away from its stop at Schenectady station with eventual arrival at Albany/Rensselaer. The following day #156 would head north to Montreal on the Adirondack and return south the next day. On Monday March 21st #156 would return to Chi-Town trailing on the WB Lake Shore Limited. So here's the big question. Will these Ugly Ducklings be as sought after as the F40's were when they were being phased out in favor of these units. Will we be driving all over the US in search of these just like we have with Alcos, trying to photograph them before there retired. Will the Northeast or some other location become a "Genesis" Mecca like the Northeast did when the F40's were on there way out? That is the question. |
