Remarks & Notes |
The Amtrak equipment move from Albany-Rensselaer to Scranton via Syracuse and the NYSW rolls along the Chenango River a few miles north of Binghamton on former DL&W rails. This location is just north of the old CP Forks where the now out of service Utica Main split from the Syracuse Main. This train has 5 Amtrak cars and 4 private cars carrying revenue passengers. The display train is on the way to the Railfest at Steamtown in Scranton, PA. It was routed via the CSX Hudson and Mohawk Subs to Syracuse and then down the NYSW to Binghamton where it joined CP to Scranton. |
