Remarks & Notes |
The Mayflower railtour from Euston - Plymouth had an unusually early path down the Berks and Hants line, leaving Euston at 06:46, allowing this low angle alongside the Kennet and Avon at Beech Grove Lock in lovely early morning light.
34067 Tangmere took the train as far as Taunton before handing over to 60019 Bittern and 70000 Britannia for the run to Plymouth and back over the south Devon banks. 70000 then took the return solo from Taunton back to London, but to Paddington instead of Euston
