Remarks & Notes

The eastbound Empire Builder kicks up dust from a gravel crossing as it rushes into Grand Forks running more than 10 hours late. The delay was caused when a Breckenridge, MN, to Tacoma, WA, grain train derailed the previous day at Lohman, MT.
