The 1979 Pacific Railroad Society "Mountain Outin" passenger special, with Amtrak SDP40F 518 and 517, is coasting down the south track after going around Sullivan's Curve and crossing over from the north track. The Santa Fe 3225 has stopped and waits for the Amtrak special to clear, much to the delight of railfans, both on the train and trackside.
