The NSW Rail Transport Museums ‘Heritage Express’, 3642, pauses at the 1877 two-storey Victorian era built Orange Rly. Stn. in glorious weather with the "Legends of Steam, Western Tour". It is on its way to Dubbo for the weekend where it will travel around the Central West of NSW, including a Saturday afternoon excursion to Binnaway and the following day, shuttle services between Dubbo, Minore and Narromine for the local towns’ folk. The cast iron footbridge pictured is a rare structure reflecting a style of construction once similar to other pedestrian overhead bridges built during the Whitton era within NSW during the late 19th Century.
