A westbound Southern Pacific train passes by the eastbound main at Cienega Creek, Arizona, on April 22, 1990. Inside the curve of this lower track is one of SP’s unique lower quadrant semaphores that used to populate the Sunset Route. On the point of this stack train is GE B40-8 No. 8068 followed by a SD45T-2, a SD40-2r, a B30-7 and finally a Cotton Belt SD40T-2.
