The Awakening of Stampede Pass; BNSF has really ramped up train totals on Stampede after years of seeing either 1 or 2 trains in 24 hours or no trains at all. The new "Triangle" pool runs Auburn to Pasco to Vancouver to Auburn. Running eastbound only, the rumor is BNSF plans to run all empty unit trains over Stampede which is great news for the local railfan community. Since midnight this empty grain train was the 5th or 6th over the pass by 3pm Saturday with another behind it. Hope you guys like it.
