Utah Railway's first GP38-2 leads an RUT312 local east through North Yard in Salt Lake City. The 2000 is in familiar territory as it was built a GP35 by EMD as the D&RGW 3037 in June 1964. In 1998 it was converted by Omnitrax to a GP38-2 and is currently one of three remaining in red and gray paint working on the Utah Railway.
