This line between Victoria and Courtenay is the antithesis of "high iron"; in fact, one is hard-pressed to see any iron in this photo, with tall grass growing between the ties and shrouding the rails. Nevertheless, Budd RDC 6148 speeds quickly past this point, making up lost time for an on-time arrival at the end of the route in Courtenay.
