| The Southern Pacific heritage of Union Pacific GP38-2 588 is obvious - while the red signal light in the nose is gone, the distinctive L-shaped windshield remains (even at this late date). UP GP38-2 588 (ex-SP 4825) is teamed with GP38-2 551 (ex-UP 2051) on train LOB33 03 (the Crestmore Local) on July 3, 2012. |
