Nebkota FP7 No. 55 rests for the afternoon while being used to switch the grain elevator at Hemingford, Nebraska, on June 12, 1998. A westbound BNSF freight pounds by on the adjoining Butte Subdivision. Later in 1998, No. 55 will be sold to Canadian Pacific to power the railroad’s Royal Canadian Pacific passenger train, repainted maroon and gray, and renumbered 1400 in the process.
