| Nearing the summit of Cumbres Pass we find D&RGW 487 and sister 488 are working an eastbound Cumbres Turn up the 4% grade having just rounded the turn at Windy Point. In a little over two train lengths it will arrive at Cumbres for a much needed water stop, during a recent charter by Pete Lerro & FarRail Tours. |
