Algoma Central hurries a extra work train, complete with ballast cars and heavy equipment, crosses the Montreal River Trestle at Montreal Falls, Ontario, on September 19, 1993. AC GP38-2 No. 200 and GP7Lm No. 104 hustle the train northward. The Hearst train was cancelled this day because of a wreck to the north (I don’t remember where though), in which SD40-2 No. 184 and GP7Lm No. 102 were destroyed. This bridge was built before the hydro-electric dam, and the lower parts of the trestle were encased in the concrete poured during construction of the dam.
