Students of architecture watching the welcoming of our passenger train at the Kalamata station from the mayor and a lot of citizens who saw a train in their city after a long time on a metric line under suspension but refurbished recently. The experience gained by the students, as they said, was unique, the reason for their decision to join us on this hardcore excursion from Tripolis to Kalamata and next day Kalamata - Pirgos - Katakolo was a thesis of their classmate and railfan named Kirkos Apollo on railway architecture of Peloponnese lines, which made positive impressions in their school. The leaves you notice on the floor is the result of the all day open windows ( the railfan's paradise... ) and the uncleaned gauge. As you can see there is a woodstove for the winter cold days in the old metric baggage car (the train)
