The sun is barely up as this southbound out of Madawaska, Maine, finds itself motorcaded south of the road crossing at Masardis. But the chase proves brief, as the laws of physics (and possibly good sense), soon favor the F and its following tonnage. Not far ahead the northbound train waits in the clear.
