Remarks & Notes
The belch that made Montreal famous! Or was that Schenectady? Expanding its carbon footprint, a BCRail northward freight gets underway at the north end of Squamish yard after some minor switching. Mainline through freights on the Cariboo Road typically would have two units on the point and two remote units cut in about a third of the way back in the train. This train's tonnage consisting mostly of empties, is light enough to allow all power being placed on the head end thus enhancing the wonderful smoke show! I can DIG IT!
