Remarks & Notes

The Huron, SD, to Rapid City, SD, freight train rolls west with 70 cars towards next crew change at Philip. This train left Pierre at 09:40, and in 5 hours has only traveled 50 miles. This end of the ex-DM&E is a very slow trip to and from for the trains between Pierre and Rapid City.
