The last revenue ore train to be operated by LTV Steel Mining Company eases out of the plant area for its run to Taconite Harbor. This train consisted of taconite pellet chips and fines reclaimed from the stockpile area. Note the large American flag on the lead F9 to note the occassion. 4211 now resides at the Lake Superior Railroad Museum in Duluth. |
