Hurricane Sandy damaged the NJ Transit rail system, with the North Jersey Coast Line taking the brunt of the storm. Rail service resumed this week, three weeks after the storm, with some interesting consists operating. Here, a displaced Hoboken set with a Metro North F40PH-3C pushing heads north to Long Branch with eight cars. Metro North locomotives rarely venture out of the Hoboken Division.
