Remarks & Notes 
Unusually for TFR, these two class 34-900's are coupled nose to tail, as they roll north across the grassland scrub of the southern Free State with cement empties from Queenstown, which are returning to Lichtenburg. Unlike the other GE class 34's, the 34-900 series were not retro-fitted with saddle filters on the roof behind the cab and so have retained their original flat roof line.
